Bush presidency not the end of the world after all

The man the New Republic calls the "world's most popular Christian evangelist," Indian-born K A Paul, endorses Barack Obama: "Speaking from an evangelical perspective, the current administration, I believe, has delayed the second coming of Jesus," he said. It must be really depressing to spend eight whole years as president actively trying to induce the Endtimes by any means possible -- war, environmental catastrophe -- and then have the planet's top Christian sidle up and tell you you've been delaying them instead. Sheesh. Talk about a damaging blow to your self-esteem. [via Ben Smith]
