A major police response has been reported in the Clarkston area following a robbery this afternoon.
A helicopter and police cars were dispatched to Busby Road at 2.25pm on Wednesday, August 25, following reports of the robbery on Main Road.
Officers remained on the scene for several hours and a man has been now been arrested.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 2.25pm on Wednesday 25 August, 2021, police received a report of a robbery in Main Road, Busby. Officers are currently on scene and a man has been arrested. Enquiries are ongoing."
