A number of bus services in two County Durham villages have been pulled three days in a row after youths "throw stones and bricks" at buses.
Arriva North East pulled three different services from the areas after repeated anti-social behaviour in the Thornley and Wheatley Hill areas of County Durham.
On Wednesday, the bus company said they were pulling services 22,57 and 58 from the villages after the health and safety of passengers and drivers were put at risk due to the anti-social behaviour.
For the past three days, service 22 from Durham Bus Station to Sunderland Interchange, service 57 from Ashington Bus Station to Whitley Bay Whitley Road-Clifton Terrace and service 58 from Durham Bus Station to Hartlepool Interchange have not gone ahead.
In a statement, they said: "Due to anti-social behaviour in Thornley and Wheatley Hill, these services are being pulled from these areas this evening as youths throwing stones and bricks at the buses are endangering passengers and drivers.
"Sorry for any inconvenience."
In later updates on Thursday and Friday, Arriva North East said the services were still not going ahead due to "continued anti-social behaviour" in the same areas.
More than a week ago, Durham Constabulary said officers responded to seven reports of anti-social behaviour in just a 24-hour period in the Shotton Colliery area.
This included youths throwing stones at moving vehicles, resulting in significant damage in a spate of incidents.
Peterlee Police appealed for help from parents to have "serious conversations" with their children about the possible consequences.
