Bus lane closed near Queen's Medical Centre as work takes place to repair collapsed drain

A bus lane running outside Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre will be closed for most of today while work takes place to replace a collapsed drain.

Maintenance workers are expected to be at the scene in Derby Road until about 3.30pm today.

The inbound lane of the road, which is opposite QMC, is affected by the work to repair the collapsed gully.

Nottingham City Council's highway maintenance team says the work will involve rebuilding the gully and making it safe.

Minor delays are expected as a result of the closure.
