Four people had to be taken to hospital after a bus collided with a car and then a tree in Birmingham yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at a junction in Edgbaston at around 4pm.
Several people were assessed for injuries, while four who were involved in the collision with the car were taken to hospital after being treated by ambulance crews at the scene.

“Crews arrived to discover a car and a bus that had been in collision. Subsequently, the bus also collided with a tree,” a spokesman for the service said in a statement published on their website.
The bus driver was assessed at the scene before being discharged.
But a man - thought to be in his 60s - and a woman - thought to be in her 40s - were transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Both had been travelling on the bus.
The spokesman said: “The man was treated for lower back and leg pain whilst the woman, who had pain relief administered, was treated for arm and leg injuries. They were then both transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.”
A woman in her 30s and a girl, thought to be 10 years old, who had been in the car, also required hospital treatment.
The spokesman said the pair were treated for “minor injuries and the effects of shock before being taken to City Hospital for further assessment”.
