Bus Eireann has paid tribute after one of their long-term employees was killed during the horrific crash in Cork this afternoon.
A bus driver and a pedestrian were pronounced dead after the crash on Strand Road in Monkstown shortly before 2pm on Tuesday.
The National Ambulance Service, gardai, and fire units from Carrigaline and the city rushed to the horrific scene where the bus had hit a wall as well as a number of cars and pedestrians.
