A bus driver was rushed to hospital today after being hit by another bus while trying to help fix a broken down single-decker.
After the collision, one red bus was seen on top of a keep left sign on the wrong side of the road, and another was parked on the pavement of a mini roundabout.
The injured driver was reportedly struck by the oncoming bus while helping a colleague who had broken down on the road leading to Richmond Bridge this morning.
Paramedics called police just after 7am to reports of a bus colliding with a man near the bridge, which remains closed.
The injured driver was then taken to a hospital in central London but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, the Met Police said.
A witness told Nub News a bus driver on the scene claimed the incident was linked to a breakdown on the bridge.
They said that the bus driver was injured after trying to help.

He said: "What I hear from a driver on the scene is that one bus broke down, a driver from another bus got out to help, and that driver got injured by other traffic."
According to police reports, it was another bus that hit the man.
Another witness said: "No traffic is going either way across the bridge, but the footpaths are still open. A police car was parked on the Twickenham side."
Police in hi-vis jackets taped off the road and a 33 bus was parked across the bridge road on the Richmond side.
A spokesman for the Met said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 07:07hrs on October 29 to reports of a bus in collision with a man on Ormond Road in Richmond.
"Officers attended. The man - who was the driver of a broken down vehicle - was taken to a central London hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"Road closures are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area. Officers are on scene."
