Bus diversions in place as Arnold street is closed for work

A busy street in Arnold will be closed for most of today (November 3) as a new zebra crossing is put in place.

Buses are being diverted while work takes place in Cross Street, which leads to Mansfield Road and includes a primary school.

According to Nottingham City Transport, the road will be closed until 5.30pm.

Commuters are being advised the Turquoise 79 service, which links Arnold and the city centre, will need to be diverted.

As a result, there will be no stops at Furlong Avenue, Galway Road and James Street during the closure.
