Bus diversions in Nottingham residential street after emergency services called following collision

Bus services have been diverted for most of the afternoon in Nottingham residential street after reports of a collision.

Emergency services were called at the scene in the Woodthorpe area following the incident.

Crews from Arnold Fire Station and Stockhill arrived in Breckhill Road just before 1pm on Saturday (September 18).

Fire and Rescue service gave first aid to those involved.

It was reported that police and ambulances were also at the scene.

Bus services operating in the area had to be diverted and they are still affected hours after the incident.

NCT has updated passengers about the diversion on social media just before 5.30pm: "Lilac 25 continue to divert via Woodthorpe Drive and Mansfield Road because of an earlier RTC on Breckhill Road."

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service has informed people about the incident and added: "Crews from Arnold Fire Station and Stockhill attended an RTC in the Woodthorpe area today.

"The crews gave first aid to casualties and the incident was also attended by our colleagues at Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance."
