Bus crashes into Edinburgh tram bringing rush hour traffic to standstill

A bus has collided with a tram in Edinburgh.

The collision happened on Atholl Place at the junction with Atholl Crescent in the city centre.

Motorists were brought to a standstill after the crash between the two vehicles heading westbound.

There are not believed to be serious injuries following the collision.

Motorists were warned about delays and diversions to buses.

Police Scotland are not believed to have been called to the incident.
