Bus crash on Glasgow's Argyle Street as McGill's vehicle and Stagecoach collide

Two buses were involved in a crash on Glasgow 's Argyle Street on Thursday afternoon.

Stagecoach service X19, which runs to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, collided with a McGill's 38, which runs from Glasgow to Kilbarchan.

The crash happened just before 5pm on Thursday at Argyle Street's junction with Union Street and police were called to deal with the incident.

Pictures show the front of the McGill's bus connected with the back of the Stagecoach.

The collision appears to have been minor and there are not believed to be any injuries.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At 4.55pm we had a report of a collision involving two buses on Union Street.

"Police attended and no further action taken. The road was cleared quickly."
