Bus crash closes busy Scots road as cops race to scene of smash with van

A busy Scots road has been locked down after a smash involving a bus and a van.

Emergency services raced to the scene on the A90 at around 12pm on Monday, November 15.

It's understood a bus and a van have collided near Kirktown Brae, Fraserburgh.

Traffic Scotland reported the road had been closed in both directions at around 1:30pm.

Cops remain at the scene and it's understood the road is still locked down.

It's not yet clear if anyone has been injured but police confirmed paramedics are in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.10pm on Monday, 15 November, officers were called to a report of a road crash involving a bus and a van on the A90 at Kirktown Brae, Fraserburgh. Police and Ambulance are at the scene."
