A bus company has moved to disown a viral image that claimed to show its information board calling Boris Johnson a 'lying d***head'.
Thousands of people saw the image over the last few days after it was attributed to a bus stop in Brighton.
It showed a bus arrivals display in Portland Street, in the city centre, with the words: "Boris is a LYING D***HEAD".
Even BBC radio star Jeremy Vine got involved, tweeting: "Is this for actual real?"
But sadly for lovers of anarchic bus timetabling everywhere, it seems it was not.
A spokeswoman for Brighton and Hove Buses said: "This is a photoshopped/doctored image and therefore a fake.
“Any such offensive language or otherwise would not be added to our live times.”

The firm also tweeted: "A fake photograph of a bus stop display board has been circulating on social media suggesting a political and offensive statement has been added to the display board.
"This is purely a fake image which Brighton & Hove Buses has not been involved with in any shape or form."
The image began circulating after Brighton played host to Labour's annual party conference.
