Bus and forklift involved in smash on Scots road as cops race to scene

A bus and a forklift have crashed on a Scots road this morning.

Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics from Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the two-vehicle smash on the B9011 Forres road.

The road is currently closed following the incident between Findhorn and Kinloss.

Cops were first called out around 9.20am this morning and expect the road to remain blocked for some time.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and take an alternative route if possible.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the B9011 between Findhorn and Kinloss at around 9.20am on Monday, 1 February, 2021 following a crash involving a bus and a forklift vehicle.

"Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently blocked in both directions."
