Bury town centre street taped off as emergency services respond to 'concern for welfare of man'

Emergency services are responding to reports of 'concern for the welfare of a man' in Bury this morning.

Police said officers were called to Bolton Street in the town centre earlier. According to eyewitnesses, multiple ambulances and fire engines are also on the scene.

A stretch of the road has been taped off near the railway station, with a closure in place in both directions. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police told the M.E.N officers were responding to concerns for the welfare of a man.
