Two Burton Joyce neighbours are celebrating this weekend - after each winning £30,000 thanks to the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The Brooklyn Avenue residents’ win came after their postcode, NG14 5BJ, was announced as a winner on Sunday, June 28.
The winners decided to remain anonymous but will still receive their prize money.
People's Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day.
People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Judie McCourt, said: “A huge congratulations to both of our winners in Burton Joyce.
"I hope they enjoy being £30,000 richer and treat themselves to something special.”
A minimum of 32percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise more than £500m to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Canal and River Trust, which has received more than £8.7m in funding.
