Some residents in Bathgate have been left without water overnight.
A burst water main has resulted in no running supply in parts of the EH48 area.
In a statement on their website, Scottish Water said: "We're carrying out emergency repairs to a burst water main in Ballencrieff Toll, Bathgate.
"We aim to have the repair carried out as soon as possible but can't give an exact time for completion.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing customers and will provide a further update on the repair as soon as we have more information available."
Last night Scottish Water wrote on Facebook: "Technicians on-site carrying out essential repairs to burst main in EH48. Apologies for any inconvenience."
Adding this morning: "The latest update is tankers are still tankering in.
"However the water has now been switched back on and the network is tarting to build itself back up slowly.
"Customers should be coming back into supply shortly."
However, some residents are reportedly still experiencing issues this morning.
