Burns Night at the bingo as Kilmarnock hall celebrates with live bagpiper and Address to a Haggis

Burns Day is upon us and one Ayrshire bingo hall is going full house to mark the birth of Scotland’s national Bard.

Club 3000 Bingo, in Kilmarnock, is hosting a ‘Burns Night Special’ tonight and it promises to be a night not to be missed with top cash prizes up for grabs.

The Portland Street venue are pulling out all the stops to ensure bingo lovers can celebrate Burns night without forgoing their favourite midweek fun.

With a max prize of £500 to be won for a full house this evening, Club 3000 will also have a live bagpiper entertaining players alongside addressing the Haggis at 7.30pm.

Steak pies and haggis pies are also on the menu for those looking for a nod to a Burns supper.

The multi-million pound bingo hall opened at the end of August last year, welcoming around 800 punters who packed into the venue for the opening night.

Still Game actor Paul Riley cut the ribbon to officially open the state-of-the-art £3.5 million venue, which created more than 50 jobs in the town, with guests enjoying entertainment from a magician, three-piece band Scotland Rocks and of course plenty of bingo.

Brian Fraser, the owner of Club 3000, said at the time of opening: “We were thrilled to launch our newest club here at Kilmarnock, the club demonstrates how we lead the way as a modern-day bingo operator.”

Club 3000 Bingo is the largest independent bingo operator in the UK and the firm has six clubs in Scotland.
