Harry Kane is a surprise started at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon as Tottenham face Burnley.
During Thursday's press conference, Mauricio Pochettino teased Kane's involvement at the weekend.
"He's good, he's very good," the manager said. "I think we need to assess him in one more training session [on Friday] and then decide.
"But I think he's doing well, I'm happy with him and maybe he'll be available to be part of the squad on Saturday."
He added: "Of course if you ask him 10 days ago he was ready to play! But in the end the last word is always myself. I take the risk, the decision and everything that is going on in the team."
Away from Kane, Juan Foyth and Serge Aurier keep their place from the win over Borussia Dortmund, with Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Kieran Trippier out of the squad completely. Fernando Llorente drops to the bench, as Heung-min Son and Christian Eriksen support lone frontman Kane.
