Burnley vs Newcastle delayed after medical emergency in players' tunnel

Monday's Premier League clash between Burnley and Newcastle has been delayed due to a medical emergency in the players' tunnel.

Kick-off at Turf Moor was pushed back by half an hour until 8.30pm after referees' assessor Eddie Wolstenholme collapsed in the tunnel.

Wolstenholme was taken to hospital conscious but referee Anthony Taylor and the Premier League decided to delay the start of the match.

Wolstenholme was formerly a Premier League referee who retired from officiating in 2003.
