Burnley vs Chelsea: Prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream, h2h results, odds today

Chelsea resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to Turf Moor this afternoon - (London Standard)

Chelsea face Burnley as Premier League football is back after the final international break of the year.

Enzo Maresca’s side find themselves third in the table - six points off leaders Arsenal - but the chasing pack is hot on their heels in the race for the top four.

Last season’s Conference League winners have continued their good vein of form despite the absence of talisman Cole Palmer, who has struggled all season with a groin injury and this week suffered a freak new toe issue during an accident at home.

Now, they take on a Burnley side just above the relegation zone, thanks to a superior goal difference over West Ham.

Scott Parker’s Clarets are coming off the back of two straight defeats against Arsenal and the Hammers respectively.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Burnley vs Chelsea is scheduled for a 12.30pm GMT kick-off today, Saturday, November 22, 2025.

The match will take place at Turf Moor.

Burnley vs Chelsea team news

Palmer was finally close to returning for Chelsea after two months out, but will now miss the games against Burnley, Barcelona and Arsenal with a fractured little toe on his left foot that he stubbed on a door at home.

Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto have both shaken off knocks to prove their fitness, while Benoit Badiashile has recovered from a muscular issue and Moises Caicedo is expected to be ready after a late return from international duty with Ecuador.

Chelsea remain without the likes of Romeo Lavia, Levi Colwill and Dario Essugo.

As for Burnley, they have three longer-term absentees.

Zeki Amdouni is out for most of the campaign with an ACL tear, while Jordan Beyer continues to be plagued by a hamstring problem.

Connor Roberts’ Achilles issue won’t be healed until the New Year, though Armando Broja could be fit to face his former club despite being stretchered off playing for Albania against England, along with Quilindschy Hartman.

Burnley vs Chelsea prediction

After two wins on the spin to put their defeat by Sunderland behind them, Chelsea should be confident of taking all three points here.

They have proven they can score enough goals, and that they can win tight games - like the 1-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Turf Moor will be a tough place to go, but Maresca will have full faith in his squad to get the job done.

Chelsea to win, 2-0.
