Burnley say contract talks are ongoing with Celtic target Robbie Brady

Robbie Brady's future at Burnley will ‘work itself out’ amid ongoing links to Celtic.

That’s according to manager Sean Dyche who knows his winger could leave on a free transfer this summer.

Brady’s contract will soon expire and outgoing Scottish champions Celtic are known to be keen.

Dyche said: “The talks with all players are ongoing, no matter what level of contract they’ve got.

"As soon as they’re a little bit into their contract we always keep tabs with their agents and the players to let them know.

"So that one will work itself out.”

The Clarets boss added: "It’s not always hard work, it’s just simple conversations that are open and then try and get the right outcome.

"We try and do what we can to make sure they’re happy and feel settled at the club and ready to play for the club."

Brady, 29, joined Burnley from Norwich City in 2017 and was at Hull City and Manchester United before that.

His time with the Clarets has been laced with injury problems and has made 18 appearances this season.
