Burnley lead Tottenham, West Ham United and Leicester City in bid to sign ex-Cardiff City loanee Victor Camarasa

Victor Camarasa could be set for a return to the Premier League this summer.

According to The Sun , Burnley are keen on making a move for the midfielder, who recently returned to parent club Real Betis following a reasonably successful loan spell with Cardiff City last season.

Camarasa became a huge fans' favourite in South Wales on the back of several eye-catching displays, and was undoubtedly one of the biggest positives in an otherwise disappointing season that saw Neil Warnock's side relegated back to the Championship.

Reports in Spain suggest the Spaniard has a release clause of around £21m written into his current deal at Betis, and he's subsequently attracting plenty of attention this summer.

Sean Dyche's Clarets are just the latest name to be linked, with Tottenham, West Ham United and Leicester City all previously mentioned as possible suitors earlier in the summer.

However, with Christian Eriksen looking increasingly likely to stay in North London, and with the Hammers and Foxes splashing out on Pablo Fornals and Youri Tielemans respectively, Burnley may well feel more confident of landing the 25-year-old.

Camarasa played 32 games in the Premier League last season, scoring five goals and earning four assists.
