Burnley head coach Sean Dyche is sweating on the fitness of Dwight McNeil and Robbie Brady ahead of their trip to face Leeds United this weekend.
The Clarets will visit Elland Road after the Christmas celebrations are out of the way on Sunday but fear they will be without any fit wingers for the clash.
McNeil was taken off in the closing stages of Burnley's 2-1 win over Wolves with a groin issue, while Brady has a hamstring problem.
Of the two, Dyche is more hopeful that Brady will feature against Marcelo Bielsa's side.
"We are waiting on news on Dwight McNeil and Robbie," he said.
"We are hopeful on Brady for the Leeds game and possibly with Dwight as well so we will wait and see."
Should they miss out then defender Erik Pieters could be used out wide, or Dyche may opt for three up front with Dale Stephens being brought into midfield, which would likely have a knock-on effect in how Leeds set-up.
Matej Vydra, who was the subject of Leeds United transfer speculation two-and-a-half years ago, is set to miss out with a back injury, while Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Jack Cork remain sidelined.
"Vyds has tweaked a muscle in his back and there is something there but not too serious," Dyche continued.
"We will have to wait over the next 48 hours to see whether he will be involved.
"We just have a couple of niggly ones which are touch and go for Leeds but at this stage we are not thinking they are too serious."
Both Cork and Berg Gudmundsson featured in a training game this week, but the Leeds match will be too early for them to return.
"We are beginning to get the group back together," added Dyche.
"Corky has come through a game today and still needs a bit more football.
"Johann was out there as well getting in some more minutes as well."
The Clarets visit Elland Road for a 12 noon clash on Sunday afternoon.
