Sean Dyche has confirmed that midfielder Danny Drinkwater could feature for Burnley this weekend against Palace.
The Chelsea midfielder, who is currently on loan at Burnley, has only featured once for the Clarets so far this season, playing in the Carabao Cup defeat against Sunderland in August.
The 29-year-old arrived short of match fitness having had limited opportunities at Chelsea last season, and he has had his injury problems so far this season, having been out with an ankle problem in recent weeks after an incident on a night out in Manchester in September.
But the Chelsea loanee has been back training with the Clarets ahead of their game with Crystal Palace this weekend, and Dyche has confirmed that he could come into contention to play.
"Danny [Drinkwater] comes into the thinking for the weekend. He has worked well," he said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.
"He is getting fitter and his sharpness is getting better. He will certainly come into the thinking.
"They are the dilemmas that you want. Last season we were stretched because of injuries. Now we are approaching a fully fit squad."
Burnley will, however, be without midfielder Ashley Westwood, who is suspended for the game against Crystal Palace.
