Burnley boss Sean Dyche 'monitoring situation' over Bristol City interest in QPR loan striker

Sean Dyche says Burnley are in control of the situation regarding the future of Nahki Wells.

Bristol City are interested in the striker, who is currently on loan at QPR from the Clarets, and has netted 13 goals in 26 league appearances this season.

Yet his contract runs out at the end of the campaign and the Robins are said to be hopeful of tempting Burnley into recalling Wells in order to sell him.

Dyche says he is pleased with how Wells is performing at Loftus Road but that the club will continue to monitor interest in him.

He told Lancs Live: "He is going along nicely, we keep tabs on him and know what he is doing.

"I know Mark Warburton well and he is very pleased with him.

"We will monitor situations like we do, he is one of ours so we are in control of that situation."
