Burnley among several Premier League sides eyeing Amad Diallo loan and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Burnley are one of several Premier League sides to have registered an interest in a loan deal for Amad Diallo, according to reports.

Amad enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Sunderland last season, registering 14 goals and three assists in 39 Championship appearances for the Black Cats. The 20-year-old was the subject of huge praise from manager Tony Mowbray throughout the season, helping his side reach the play-off semi-finals in their first season back in the second tier.

After a short break, Amad will join up with the Manchester United first-team for pre-season, where he will be assessed by Erik ten Hag. The winger dreams of breaking into the side but could also be loaned out again in the summer, potentially stepping up to the Premier League.

And according to 90min, Vincent Kompany's newly-promoted Clarets are among several top-flight sides eyeing the winger, with West Ham, Everton and Fulham also named in the report.

Elsewhere, the Times reports that Arsenal have 'pulled out' of the race to sign Moises Caicedo this summer which could allow United to make their move.

Brighton star Caicedo is on Ten Hag's radar, with the Dutchman keen to add depth and quality in midfield. The Ecuadorian is expected to leave the Seagulls this summer, one of two major departures after Alexis Mac Alister joined Liverpool.

Arsenal made a £70m bid for Caicedo in January, but have since set their sights on Declan Rice. The West Ham man looks set to join the Gunners but could cost over £100m, forcing Mikel Arteta to pull out of the Caicedo race.

Chelsea do remain interested in the 21-year-old.
