Burnham better suited than Starmer to ‘world of social media’: Cooper

  • She criticised Sir Keir’s management approach, saying that he had a lack of direct involvement in policy development.
  • Sir Keir stepped down as Labour leader in July, pledging his full support to Mr Burnham, who subsequently appointed Ms Cooper to his cabinet.
  • Mr Cooper reflected on the frustrations of frequent cabinet reshuffles while expressing enthusiasm for the opportunities within her new health portfolio.
