A property consultancy is entering a new era after undergoing a management buyout.
David Hemming and James Merrick have each acquired 50 per cent of Sutton Coldfield-based Burley Browne and will lead the firm as joint managing directors.
The independent consultancy provides a wide range of commercial property services to clients such as private individuals, small businesses and pension funds with a specialist focus on north Birmingham and Staffordshire.
Peter Browne, who co-founded the company with Andrew Burley in 1999, will continue to work with the pair as a consultant.
Mr Merrick said: "These are very exciting times at Burley Browne.
"David and I now have ownership of the business and have a clear vision for the future.
"We have agreed a robust strategy and are determined to drive Burley Browne forward."
Mr Browne added: "We've got some fantastic clients and highly experienced colleagues.
"I'm delighted to pass on the reins to David and James and I'm confident the business will be in safe hands as it continues to evolve."
