Burley Banksy's latest piece gets the thumbs up from Leeds United star

Stuart Dallas has reacted to the latest piece of Leeds United street art painted by the Burley Banksy.

The artist, real name Andy McVeigh, hit the headlines earlier in the year after his popular street art installations around Elland Road and Beeston had been cruelly vandalised by vigilantes.

He received an outpouring of support from United supporters and the club itself, who raised money for him to get back out painting, while making sure his artwork was protected legally going forward.

Dallas has become something of a go-to man for Marcelo Bielsa, starting all 23 Championship games in a variety of positions for Leeds this season, with his utility man status helping solve problems around the team.

Ben White is the only outfielder to have played more minutes than Dallas this season, who has only been subbed off on the rare occasion.

His importance and Bielsa - and to Leeds - has seen his stock rise with the fanbase this season, so it was no surprise to see his name immortalised in one of McVeigh's trademark electrical box paintings.

Writing on Twitter, Dallas reacted: "Class work from @pantsdanny - it’s an honour to have my own piece of Leeds United art work. I’ll be down to sign it soon!"

"No worries, mate," responded the street artist . "You deserve it. It's only a box I know but just a little token of how much us fans appreciate you."
