Some of the UK's biggest burlesque stars are coming together come together for a night of sexy nostalgia - and we can’t think of a better way to spend Valentine's Day.
Swordswallower Snookie Mono is at the helm and after more than a decade of performing within adult variety shows, you’re guaranteed more thrills than your average V Day (and just the odd bit of artful nudity).
The show is on at SWG3 on Friday, February 14 from 8pm and the latest line up includes a full six piece swing and jazz band and a full array of polished circus professionals, promising everything from 'real swordswallowing, fire eating, acrobatics, hula hoop and erotic clowning'.
There will even be a traditional style absinthe bar if you fancy a titillating tipple on the night.
Snookie said: "Quite selfishly, it’s born out of me wanting to recruit some of my favourite international performer friends to Glasgow to throw a party, showcase their insane skill set, swig absinthe and invite everyone to come play.
"No narrative. No theme. Just artists doing what they’re best at, with the highest production values we can wangle."
A unique, retro and bohemian clubbing experience until 2am, partygoers can brush shoulders with immersive showgirl performers and professional snake charmers on the dance floor.
“Cabaret in previous years has been thrown around as a bit of a dirty word. I think that a lot of folk hear it and think of something very dated and ‘end of the pier’ entertainment, but, the reality is, when done well it’s irreverent, hilarious, boundary breaking and very sexy.
