
Defending champions Buriram United say they are ready to claim three points from their first Thai League 1 game after the Songkran break against Trat tonight.
The match will kick off at 8pm at Chang Arena.
After taking a week-long break for the Thai New Year celebrations, reigning champions Buriram will be looking to nullify Port's two-point advantage at the top.
Port have 14 points from seven matches, with Buriram, who a have a game in hand, on 12.
The Thunder Castle could only draw 0-0 with Chiang Rai United, while Trat finished tied 1-1 with Samut Prakarn City in their previous games.
However, Buriram then suffered a 3-1 loss to Beijing Guoan in an AFC Champions League battle on April 9.
Buriram coach Bozidar Bandovic said: "We gave the boys a couple of days off to join the Songkran festivities but we are ready for the league game with Trat.
"Trat are a good team and although they are newcomers in the top flight, they have put in some good performances.
"We will be playing at our home ground, so we to have to pick up three points from this game.
"We don't have any injured players and all of them -- Pedro Junior, Supachai [Chaided] and Sasalak [Haiprakhon] -- are ready and looking forward to the game."
Trat coach Phayong Khunnaen said: "It will be a tough game for our team. Buriram are a very good and strong team.
"They are the defending champions and have many strong players in the team, but we are hoping to leave their home ground with at least one point to our credit."
