A victim in his 50s was threatened at knifepoint while his house was burgled late at night.

Two men knocked on the door of the victim's home, on A'Court Street, Radford, before forcing their way in.

One of the men threatened the victim, a man, with a knife while the other suspect searched the property.

The burglars then left with valuables from the home.

The incident happened at around 11.50pm on Thursday, February 6.

Detective Sergeant Lee Cattell, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Thankfully the victim wasn't seriously injured during this frightening incident but it has left him very distressed.

"We are working hard to trace the suspects and we're urging anyone who saw or heard anything around the time of the incident or any drivers who may have recorded dashcam footage to please get in touch with us.

"Any information you have, no matter how small, could be invaluable to our ongoing investigation."

Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1 of 7 February 2020, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
