Three burglars who broke into a high value auction house in Macclesfield stole with more than 400 pieces of jewellery, police say.
Adam Partridge Auction House was targeted in the early hours of November 16.
Gold coins, rings, necklaces, watches and other jewellery were snatched.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage.
Jewellers and pawn shop owners are being asked to remain vigilant and look out for any jewellery matching the descriptions.
No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Constable Tom Towe, of Macclesfield CID, said: “I am asking for anybody with information about the those responsible or the whereabouts of the jewellery to contact the police.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have any photographs of the stolen items, but I would also ask local jewellers and pawnshop owners to look out for items matching the above descriptions.
“We have carried out a number of enquiries and we are now asking for the public's help.
“We are asking for anyone who may have seen the incident, or anyone who has information, to contact Cheshire Police.”
