Burglars steal cash machine in midnight ram-raid at Co-op in Margam, Port Talbot

Burglars have ram-raided a supermarket and stolen an entire cash machine.

The perpetrators targeted the Co-op store in Margam, Port Talbot, overnight on Wednesday, November 27, and forced their way into the shop through the front window.

They tore the cash machine out and made their getaway from the Tollgate Road store in two vehicles after midnight.

A South Wales Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information after a ram-raid at the Co-op in Margam at about 12.40am on Wednesday. Two vehicles were involved in the incident and a cash point was stolen."

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence 1900436973.
