Burglars steal car after breaking into house for the keys

Police are investigating a burglary after a car was stolen from a house in Tyldesley.

Officers were called to the Shakerley area in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday January 13) following a break in.

Cops say the raiders broke into the home and stole the owner's car keys.

No arrests have been made yet.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "We were called at around 3.30am on Wednesday 13 January to a report of a burglary at an address on Hertford Drive, Tyldesley.

"A car was stolen from the property after offenders forced entry into the address and stole car keys.

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 261 of 13/01/2021.
