
Chicago police are warning residents of a string of burglaries reported in September in Southwest Side neighborhoods.
In each incident, a person is able to gain entry into a residence or garage and took items from therein, Chicago police said in a community alert.
These burglaries happened:
- About 4:25 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 5200 block of South Avers Avenue;
- About 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 5100 block of South Harding Avenue;
- About 1:15 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 3600 block of West 58th Street;
- About 5:15 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 5100 block of South Pulaski Road;
- About 2:15 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 5200 block of South Harding Avenue;
- About 6:30 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 5200 block of South Homan Avenue;
- About 10 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 3700 block of West 57th Street; and
- About 5:35 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 3800 block of West 58th Street.
