
Police are warning South Side residents about a string of burglaries that happened last month in Englewood, Marquette Park and Lithuanian Plaza.
In each case, someone broke into a residence or garage and stole items from inside, Chicago police said in an alert.
The burglaries happened:
- About 6 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue;
- About 11:30 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 2400 block of West 66th Street;
- About 9:45 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 7100 block of South Rockwell Street;
- About 11:20 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 7200 block of South Western Avenue;
- About 4:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 6900 block of South Artesian Avenue;
- About 1 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 7100 block of South Claremont Avenue; and
- About 4 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 6900 block of South Talman Avenue.
A description of any suspects wasn’t available.
