Burger King's savage response to Liverpool fan's trolling of Luke Shaw

Burger King savagely trolled Manchester United this morning as they responded to a Liverpool fan's comment.

The fast-food chain is no stranger to controversy having admitted to ridiculing McDonald's throughout 2019.

But the social-media team switched tactics as they poked fun at a Manchester United player.

Liverpool fan @AnfieldRd96 posted a heated warning to the Red Devils prior to their match at Anfield on January 19.

Writing on Twitter, he said: "I don’t just want us to beat Man Utd. I want us to ruin them.

"I want Mané to send Wan-Bissaka back to Crystal Palace U15s. I want Firmino dancing on Phil Jones.

"I want Salah to send Shaw back to Burger King. I want the Sky Sports cameras to zoom into Solskjaer’s tears."

The Reds fan racked up over 2,000 retweets and 15k likes for his impassioned speech.

But Burger King had their own response to the Liverpool fan, after he suggested Man Utd player Luke Shaw return to the fast-food chain.

This is in reference to Shaw's visit to Burger King in 2014, where he was spotted treating himself to a burger.

Burger King tweeted @AnfieldRd96 with a hilarious comeback, saying: "It's bold of you to assume we would hire Luke Shaw."

The tweet eclipsed the original, gaining 15.6k retweets and 71,000 likes in 14 hours.
