The entire staff at a Burger King restaurant handed in their resignations on the exact same day due to poor working conditions.
As they vacated, two of the employees at the fast food chain pitched a sign outside the front of the joint that read: "We all quit. Sorry for the inconvenience."
The former colleagues of the burger franchise in Lincoln, Nebraska, reported that a defeated air conditioning unit had thrusted the temperature in the kitchen to an insufferable 90F (32C) and owners of the facility had failed to rectify the problem.
Manager Rachael Flores told the local Lincoln news platform KKTV11 that in one instance she required medical assistance from the hospital due to suffering from dehydration, reports Daily Star.

After returning to work after her ordeal, Rachael handed in her notice. Eight other employees stood down on the same day.
Once their two weeks’ notice was up they left their cheeky message to management on the restaurant’s sign.
"We wanted a big laugh to them, so the whole 'we all quit' was mainly to them," Rachael said. She added that they took turns updating the sign because "it’s actually kind of tiring putting the letters up there".
The sign was changed as Rachael and her colleagues started their final day’s shift at around 6am. Within a few hours, she got a call from the restaurant's boss ordering her to take it down.
"I told him I couldn’t do that because we were short-staffed and lunch was just starting," she said.
Shortly after that, a management representative appeared and demanded Rachael’s keys and security pass.
A few hours later the "We all quit" sign was replaced with one that read: "Now hiring. Flexible schedules."
Burger King later released a statement stressing that the problems countered by Rachael and her colleagues were not representative of the business as a whole.
"The work experience described at this location is not in line with our brand values," the statement read.
"Our franchisee is looking into this situation to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future."
