Burger King reopens Ayrshire restaurant with reduced menu in place

Burger King reopened its Kilmarnock restaurant earlier today.

The fast-food eaterie closed its doors for lockdown in March and has reopened its drive-thru this afternoon.

While more than 40 cars piled into a queue for nearby KFC, there was no such rush at Burger King.

Staff can be seen wearing face masks and high-vis jackets as diners were served swiftly.

And for those craving a fast-food fix, the American restaurant is now operating on a reduced menu.

Diners can get a Whopper, Double Whopper, Triple Whopper, Bacon Double Cheeseburger, Bacon XL, Chicken Royale or a Royale with cheese.

The restaurant is only serving bottled drinks too.
