Burger King is giving away free Whoppers to customers who spend £15 - how to get one

Your Friday is just about to get better, as Burger King are giving foodies up and down the country a free Whopper for their end of the week takeaway.

The fast food chain has announced that today shall officially be renamed "Whopper Day", as burger fans will be able to get their hands on one of their iconic items.

Burger King fans have the choice between a flame-grilled Whoppers or plant-based Whoppers.

This exclusively delicious deal is the perfect start to your weekend as it is only available on Friday when fans order through Deliveroo.

To access the deal, all fans need to do is head on over to Deliveroo and spend £15 to get a signature burger delivered to their door free of charge.

The signature burger has been part of Burger King's menu since 1957 and comes with a flame-grilled beef single patty, with lettuce, tomatoes and sliced onions, in a sesame seed bun.

It usually costs customers £4.49 on a regular basis, meaning the Deliveroo offer is an absolute bargain!

Soco Nunez, Brand & Communications Director, Burger King UK said, “We are so excited to treat the nation to our iconic Whopper.

The Whopper is Burger King’s pride and joy, and for one day only we think everyone deserves to enjoy some flame-grilled goodness on us. It is Christmas after all!”

The fast food chain has provided inspiration for foodies struggling to fill their basket to access the free deal, as they can opt for "flame-grilled burgers to crispy and tender chicken and snack options, including Chilli Cheese Bites and Chicken Fries."

Foodies can also tuck into the brand new Gourmet King range, which includes the brand-new Memphis King, Argentinian Angus and Steakhouse Angus.
