Halloumi fans can now go to Burger King for their cheesy fix aftert the chain launched its new halloumi burger.
And this isn’t just whacking some on an existing burger like the Whopper – The ‘King have built an entirely new one around the salty Cypriot goodness.
A slab of fried halloumi is served on a brioche bun with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato and creamy mayo.
You can also double down on the cheese and include an extra halloumi patty.
Available since 8 July , a single burger will set you back £3.99, or £5.99 for the halloumi burger meal.
The UK roll out follows a successful trial in Sweden and makes sense given the demand for the cheese in this country.
Britain is now one of the biggest importers of halloumi, shipping in over 2,000 tonnes of the stuff every year.
