Burger King has been gifting customers with free chicken nuggets at drive thrus.
The fast-food chain confirmed it has been adding a box of the treats to orders over £15 at drive thru locations across the country.
Burger King began secretly giving away chicken nuggets on August 1 and has now unveiled the promotion.
The golden, crispy freebies have been hidden within drive-thru orders, with a note encouraging the lucky recipients not to spoil the surprise for other Burger King lovers.
Burger King said they began surprising fans with a chicken nugget care package as a pick me up in the current climate.
With the secret now out, Burger King has announced the deal with continue until August 31.
Those spending over £15 at a drive thru will get a box of six chicken nuggets for free this month.
It comes as Burger King also takes part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in August.
Marketing Director at Burger King UK, Katie Evans, said: "Surprise! It's true, we’ve been keeping a little secret in order to make our Drive Thru customers smile.
"We hope we’ve managed to spread a little bit of joy during these trying times."
