There’s nothing quite like sitting down to food burger, and Liverpool has one of the best in Europe.
Big 7 Travel has revealed just where in Europe you can get your hands on the best burgers around, and Liverpool’s Almost Famous cracked the top 50.
Restaurants across Europe were ranked based on editorial opinions and experiences, previous critic reviews, online customer reviews, location and accessibility, online presence, consistency, atmosphere and service, value for money and presentation.
There were several entries from the UK that made the list, including Liverpool, London and Manchester - though Prague’s Sad Man’s Tongue Bar and Bistro took the crown.
Almost Famous’ ‘This is Liverpool’ burger came in at number 32, and was praised for being “droolworthy”.
Big 7 said: “Almost Famous have locations around the north of England and their burgers are so pretty and droolworthy that they take over Instagram feeds like nothing else.
“They also happen to taste outrageous. Their ‘This Is Liverpool’ burger comes piled high with salt n pepper chicken n chips, chip shop curry sauce and peppered mayo.”
Almost Famous also made the cut last year for its ‘Famous’ burger, which is a double cheeseburger with a salad stack, pickles, Famous sauce and bacon ketchup.
