Bunk bed seller looking for Glasgow family 'with hunners of weans and nowhere to store them'

We've seen a few online adverts posted by Glaswegians looking to make a quick buck that have made us giggle, from an old toilet repurposed as a chic 'BBQ cooler combo' to a 'Dracucab' novelty hearse complete with its very own minibar.

Now we can add another smile-inducing one to the list - one that features one of the very best opening gambits or sales pitches we've ever seen to draw potential buyers in.

The advert was posted on Facebook group Glasgow Buy and Sell over the weekend, and is for a set of quadruple bunk beds for kids.

The seller - who appears to be from Greenock - is looking to offload them to a Glasgow family who have 'hunners of weans and nowhere to store them'.

It reads: "GOT HUNNERS OF WEANS AND NOWHERE TO STORE THEM? Well look no further. Quad bunk beds 4 years old and had plenty of use. Could be doing with getting a lick of paint. Paid £1000 for them without mattresses. Make me an offer."

It certainly caught the eye of one local, who shared it on Twitter along with the caption: "Advertising the Glasgow way, hunners of weans."

To be fair we don't think there's a better way to describe it than that - and fair play to the seller for injecting a bit of humour into her sales pitch. We hope she finds a suitable buyer!
