In other words, the usual bluster from the blowhard excuse for a leader of a nation.
Instead of flexing his muscles, Johnson abandoned a press conference with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg because frustrated and uncertain pro-Remain Britons living there were heckling at the gates.
The PM’s day in Luxembourg was supposed to have been a key moment for him to illustrate that the Brexit talks were moving towards a deal.
Instead, so much sound and fury has left him, and the country, humiliated again.
The Luxembourg PM expressed his fading EU patience with a PM who has produced nothing in terms on an alternative to the deal already on the table.
There are 44 days left until Halloween, and while we can guess what costume the PM will be wearing, the EU cannot work out what his strategy is to avoid the chaos of a no-deal Brexit.
He can’t duck and run forever, he’s meant to be running the country.
