A would-be robber has been arrested after fruitlessly hacking a bank's bulletproof glass window with an axe.
The 26-yea-old suspect, surnamed Pan, walked into the Postal Savings Bank of China in Qingyang county demanding to be let into the vault.
Security footage on the November 23 incident shows Pan, covered his face in a yellow motorcycle helmet, screams and threatens the clerks with an axe.
He raises the weapon and repeatedly raps it on the glass in a desperate attempt to crack it open.

Having realised it's a bulletproof window, Pan points at the security door and asks for access to go inside.
The staff refused to open the door but instead, they promised to pass him banknotes from under the safety glass in the lobby.
Qingyang county police responded to the scene and arrested Pan immediately.

Another clip shows Pan being dragged out of the Post office by two officers and brought onto the police car.
The incident has alerted nearby residents who gathered outside the police cordon.
Local authorities said the clerks slowly passed Pan roughly 10,000 yuan (£1,090) while waiting for the police.
Officers seized Pan's backpack, which they found an axe, a toy gun and about 12,000 yuan (£1,300) cash.
He remains in custody as further investigations continue.
No bank staff or customers were harmed during the attempted heist.
