Central Chidlom and Central Embassy will be transformed into heavenly gardens filled with blooming flowers of various species for five days during the Central Anniversary 2018, from tomorrow until Nov 5.
Shoppers will be dazzled with fresh flowers from Thailand and overseas, which will decorate many zones throughout the two shopping malls under the theme "The World Of Floral Wonders".
The highlight will be the 7m-high floral gazebo on the first floor of Central Chidlom, which will feature 12 species of beautiful and fragrant roses from Europe. Five of them are from England's David Austin Wedding Rose Collection, reputed for creating inspirational arrangements, bouquets and bridal flowers, while the other seven are scented roses of many different shapes and fantastic colours from France's Meilland Jardin & Parfum Collection.
The rare and luxury cut roses will be among other flowers used to decorate on all seven floors, each of which has its own theme and tone.
The highlight at the adjacent Central Embassy will be a floral tunnel which will see 3D interactive butterflies greeting shoppers coming from Central Chidlom. There will also be floral arches at The Balcony on the second floor; an Art Tower decorated with flowering vines at The Open House on the sixth floor, where a flower market will be held; and a Secret Garden at the Co-Thinking Space zone on the same floor.
Especially for the five days, the Eathai food court at Central Embassy will be serving exclusive menus that have flowers as ingredients as well as decorations from Park Nai Lert and other famous restaurants, while the FoodLoft at Central Chidlom will present desserts and beverages inspired by flowers.
