A coronavirus case has been reported at a local supermarket.
A case has been reported at the Tesco Extra store in Jennison Street, Bulwell.
Nottinghamshire Live was contacted by a customer in relation to the case.
It comes after "a number" of staff at the Top Valley Tesco Extra supermarket, are in quarantine following the positive tests on three employees.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “Since the start of the pandemic, we have focused on ensuring everyone can get the food they need in a safe environment. To protect our customers and colleagues, we won’t let anyone into our stores who is not wearing a face covering, unless they are exempt in line with Government guidance.
"We are also asking our customers to shop alone, unless they’re a carer or with children. To support our colleagues, we will have additional security in stores to help manage this.”
It comes after our readers reacted to the question 'are you still comfortable doing your supermarket shop in person?'.
Cathy Rice said: "What’s happened to the one-way system? I'd feel a lot safer if they brought this back. No one bothers about social distancing. Most people just lean over you to get their produce."
Robert Torrance said: "It does not bother me, actually prefer a nice stroll around a supermarket. I used to have home delivery and click and collect. I gave up the slots for the vulnerable."
Jo Ward added: "I hate going into supermarkets so shop online if possible, but it's hard to get a slot then a lot of stuff is missing. I know I'm careful, it's other people I don't trust."
June Cobley said: "Not been in a supermarket since March!"
